Rolfspan 5
I purchased EDDM (MSFS 2020) from Aerosoft on December 21, 2020. I have yet to land or fly from EDDM without a CTD. I waited until a solution was found and installed V1.0.0.2 supposedly the fix however that did not work for me either. So here I am still looking for an answer. Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted February 9, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted February 9, 2021 The second error is unrelated to MFS, it happend 30 minutes later. I made several flights in and out of EDDM and never had a problem. So maybe the addon linker caused the problem and tbh I am not fan of all these „tools and teeaks“. A software like MFS is extremly complex and such tools sooner or later start causing troubles, either on their own or due to wrong usage. maybe you should try ii without it. Rolfspan 5
I did try it again and this time with MSFS addon disconnected. A flight from Nuremburg to Munich and I got as close as 400' to touchdown when it crashed. So close. Thanks for your suggestion. If you have any others I will certainly try them. andreas.guther 0
It's really strange. I have now also the issue, but I definitively did not have it some time ago (around new year). It loads up fine for the first moment, but when I look down the runway, the sim crashes (it does not happen when you need to press the button "READY TO FLY"). Even more I had the situation that the sun is shining in my room and my TRACK-IR is going crazy and so it did not look down the runway and so it kept running. Then I disabled TRACK-IR, it stabilized and CTD... So to sum it up, it seems there is an objects in the scenery that get's drawn when I look down the runway and is soon this needs to be drawn, it crashes. Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted February 12, 2021 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted February 12, 2021 @Rolfspan Not related to MFS and you should loook under Windows Logs/Application. For the other error please serch Google, there are a lot of hints.
foxmike1080 3
Hello, just had several crashes to desktop when trying to load EDDM. After re-installing I could load the scenery. I also disabled live weather. However, all the heights seemed to be all wrong with cars stuck in the ground and gates floating in the air (see attached pic). After enabling live weather the entire world "disappeared" and all could see was water all around me. Not even the VFR Chart in max zoom showed any continents. After disabling EDDM all was back to normal. cheers, Mike Please login to display this image.
foxmike1080 3
Did some more tests: Load with clear skies preset - worked before, now CTD while loading at around 70-80% Tested different versions of nvidia drive - no luck. As now I'm always getting a CTD when trying to load the scenery.

Developer Autopiloth 462 Posted February 12, 2021 Developer Share Posted February 12, 2021 Gentlemen, something strange has happened to MSFS this morning. It will not display a lot of aerial sceneries used for airports like Munich, Trondheim, Paderborn, Hamburg (in development) for instance and cause CTDs when starting from the menu. Flying to the airport is sometimes possible but not allways. I actually do not know what happened to MSFS, but until yesterday everything was perfectly fine. Today we can reproduce the CTD error on several systems with several airport from different devs. It could be related to the regions (canary airports are still fine), or size of aerial files or whatever. Only ASOBO knows what has changed in the background. As soon as we know what happened to the sim and what we can do from our side we´ll do everything possible to solve this problem.
