additional Twin Otter Liveries

EDOT-TH

Recommended Posts

Hello,

not sure if it is the right place to ask but do we have talented repainters here who would like to paint the Twotter?

I tried myself but my skills are lower then low  but of course will try to learn it.

Meantime I would love to fly the Twotter around Hawaii (Dillingham + Megascenery) since I know some Airlines use it or used it there. The liveries themselves might be somewhat simple for those who know how to handle the paintkit and the paintprogramm.

There are some examples... one of them in FS would be great:

Royal Hawaiian Air Service:

Princeville Airways:

Aloha Island Air:

Polynesian Airlines:

Perhaps we can collect some ideas for additional liveries?

I'm sure this would enrich this awesome addon.

I'll throw in a free copy of Dillingham for the first good repaint.

ol' 711 with 50,000 hours. We had one long flight from Samoa to Tonga, 300 miles or so. It was long enough to upset the cockroaches and they'd come crawling out across the panel about halfway through the flight. Maintenance tried to kill them off, but they just kept coming back.

cheers,

steve :)

I have started to fiddle a bit with the paintkit, but i will first do a livery to complement the Winair livery for those hops in the caribbean. :)

I have done the livery for the DF Baron, but it`s time to apply it to the appropriate bird.

Sorry went a bit nuts........funny how there are so many great liveries for this little water rat.

It’s harder to pick out some favorites than the big commercial jobs...lol

Would be greatly appreciated if someone could surprise me and do one or two of these.

Thanks

Chris

If I get this package, I will probably do the last one. I always liked colorful liveries. :)

Could we have a repaint in the colours of Aerpelican Air Services for the Twin Otter if it is not already included in the package? I am downloading the Twin Otter now, so obviously I have no idea if this livery is included as I have not installed it yet. There is currently 96 pictures of this livery on www.airliners.net. Please see a few pictures below:

Weeeellll....

The best repaint has got to be the Air Seychelles "Selebre Sesel" paint with the flowers... (see another post here by yours truly :lol::lol: )

So I win the best paint submission - if only I were to submit it oy vey!

selebre.jpg

seashells_3.jpg

But I do not claim the prize - I have Dillingham anyway

OK, So I have second best too.... Sorry...

...and I still have Lukla as well...

Naaahhh, just kidding, folks. The above two skins and three more will be hitting Avsim and appropriate hosts this weekend - I would have posted sooner, but I've been away.

This Twotter is a really gorgeous plane to paint - I look forward to seeing a LOT of you painting her. The Paintkit is excellently done!

The Seychelles and TMA paints went to avsim a few moments ago. Give them a couple of hours to validate, verify and clear the uploads, then search for texture.tma.zip and texture.s7aaj.zip

Enjoy!

Air America will follow soon.

Great work, thank you! Any chance I can talk you into Air New England? :-)

Every chance, but I have just started a new job that involves a long, weekly commute, so I am going to be very busy for a few weeks. There may not be much quality time left on weekends... I'll see about taking the PK and Corel with me to the hotel.

Air New England?... hmmm... a wee bit plane... might not be that time consuming... unless I dirty it up...

This is a great plane. I have more or less the whole range of Aerosoft planes.

Could anyone do a repaint of the only European SeaOtter airline, AirSea Lines which operates out of Corfu in Greece? I attach a link.

Thanks in advance.

What is Air America exactly? I know that this was used to describe some airborne activity over Laos etc during the war. But is that really an airline??? I can't find any shots. Mind posting a shot? Thank you.

Air America was the CIA's
