When can you expect your Honeycomb - Bravo Throttle Quadrant

Hi did you have any joy?  I’ve now chased Amazon 3 time over the past 48 hours and still nothing.

Amazon are utterly useless.

They have lied to me on 2 separate occasions now.

I am in the process of raising a formal complaint with them.

A company that prides itself on their logistics capability is an abject failure in this case.

If only Honeycomb Aeronautical were not so short sighted and had accepted international orders from the very start, then this would most likely never have transpired.

I'll be avoiding placing any kind of order, pre-release or otherwise, for any of their hardware in future.  This has soured my opinion of them greatly.

I think a few of us who have have all ordered from a well established, usually very dependable online retailer like Amazon feel the same. I bought my Honeycomb yoke from Amazon without a hitch last year. I’m just as frustrated being given the run around.  It seems we just simply ordered from the wrong place and I would urge Honeycomb to remove Amazon from their UK retailers page.  I also question whether they are deliberately not being supplied if they demand a higher commission compared to other retailers...

That thought had occurred to me too wether there was some reason that Amazon wasn’t getting supplies as the honeycombe site is offering feb deliveries for new orders

is there a special  issue with Amazon aerosoft do you know as main importer ?

I've been on the case with Amazon all week. An hour ago i was again on Amazon chat and being told the same rubbish i was told on Monday which is to wait yet another 24/48 hours for a response and that this issue has been escalated with the Amazon Fulfilment team..  I doubt come Monday/tuesday next week there will be any update and i feel like im flogging a dead horse.  You would a thought a company like amazon with the most technically advanced warehousing and logistic department (probably in the world)  would be able to deal with this a bit quicker.  The fact that they cannot even tell me that the stock is sat in the warehouse is ridiculous. I appreciate there are much bigger issues in the world right now and we've all been patient and had to make do. Its just a shame we backed the wrong horse and you'll probably continue to hear about people ordering elsewhere in recent weeks or even 2021 and getting it before us who have been waiting 5/6 months if not longer.  And damn it if im gonna spend £600+ on one of the US ebay scalpers.

I've just cancelled my order with Amazon.

I've also cancelled a bunch of other items that I have on order with them along with my Prime subscription.

I'll not place another order with them.

Im putting my trust in Aerosoft on this one. When i spoke to them 2 weeks ago they gave me the advice to stick with Amazon and they will be delivering anytime soon..

I had that same advice.

But Amazon have been abject on this issue.  No communication.  No updates.  Their staff are both ill-informed and have flat out lied to me.

I'm done with them.

I really hope you all receive your order and the Bravo Throttle soon!

Hi Marius, whilst we all appreciate you do not have any dealings with Amazon UK directly, surely you do have control or communication with the UK distribution company (who supply Amazon) you've referred to on previous calls to you and mentioned on this forum?

Are we surely able to confirm that Amazon have received stock at least?  The person I spoke to from Aerosoft 2-3 weeks ago suggested there was a large delivery of units delivered to your 3rd party UK logistics company around mid January.

Dont blame you. Just wish there was another option without having to now order elsewhere and (thats if they're even allowing orders), then waiting another 3-4 months.

They cannot even get the order CANCELLATION right...

They emailed me with this as the opener "Hello,

As requested, I've cancelled the Pressure Cooker 18In 1 Accessories Set for Instant Pot Includes Vegetable Steamer Basket, Spring Form Pan, Egg Steamer Rack, Dish Clip, Steam Rack Trivet Magnetic Cheat Sheets. from your order"

I had already cancelled this weeks ago myself.

I'd avoid Amazon right now guys.  They are clearly unable to deal with the volume of orders.  If it isn't Playstation 5 units turning into a sandwich toaster and a pair of socks, it's debacles like our Bravo orders.

EDIT:  Interestingly enough, the Bravo does not even show up in my "Orders" or "Cancelled Orders".  There is something distinctly fishy about that!

I doubt Amazon are holding orders up more likely a supply problem, if aerosoft shipped as they said they did units are between their supplier in uk and Amazon somewhere

I don’t think Amazon has received their stock yet. According to this from the website of the UK distribution company, the Bravo will be available on the 26th: http://www.contact-sales.co.uk/SPECIALIST_PERIPHERALS.htm

A friend ordered form Scan months ago and hasn’t got his either. I doubt anyone who ordered from any UK based store has received their Bravo yet.

Would be interesting to see if these really do come into stock today

I agree.

I have several retailers (except Amazon!) set up to email me when they show stock.

I'll not hold my breath though.  I'm kind of resigned to sticking with the Honeycomb Alpha and the throttle from my T16000M stick and throttle kit.

Well as of an hour ago Amazon on chat have yet again proved how crap they are at trying to get me some simple information. 'Computer says no' was the theme.  I've emailed Aerosoft again this morning asking whether they have any communication with their UK logistics firm.  There must be a way to at least find out whether units are in the UK or not as a minimum. Having waited this long I just cant give up now and out of principle will keep chasing for answers.

I just sent a very annoying email to all possible Aerosoft emails and I will do the same with Honeycomb, I think sadly the best we can do if in some year we receive the quadrant is to make a bad review about the bad handling and lack of seriousness with this.

I remember reading on another forum (I can’t remember which) somebody had emailed Contact Sales and was told the container with all the UK Bravos was stuck in customs due to Brexit. I don’t know if there is any truth to that, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

i just called another online retailer and even he knew about the dramas Amazon have caused to customers who'd ordered Bravo's.  He also added that they had a delivery before Xmas (in the ten's of units) which were supplied to his customers who had pre ordered.  They dont have any other information now when new stock will be coming in other than 'Spring' which was advised by Honeycomb.

Anyone who ordered from Amazon, I think we just backed the wrong horse guys...

Unfortunately Scan computers have stopped answering calls and dont respond to emails otherwise i'd be asking whether they've received stock to date.

I did message Marius on this forum but even he hasnt got back to me.  It appears nobody can help or has any answers.

Im still not buying from an eBay scalper..

Guys, the problem is, we are not Amazon nor your contract partner.

We are simply not allowed to speak for other companys and we have to ask you for your understanding.

We have shipped a batch to the UK, this is all I am allowed to share with you, guys.

Greetings,
Marius

Hello Marius,

Are you able to give any advice on those who have ordered from you directly, i.e. when you are expected any shipments or is it all "No info at this time" beyond Spring?

Thanks

This is something else. Since we are the contractual partner, we are of course allowed to share more.

Due to the high demand, we cannot deliver all pre-orders with the same shipment. For this reason, we inform each customer individually with more detailed information and when we expect to deliver his order. "Spring 2021" is only for new customers or pre-orders. Tomorrow for example, every customer with an order placed on our website can expect an email with further information.

Greetings,

Marius

I agree with you Marius.  Its just a bit misleading when you have emails like this direct from the manufacture. See below or attached.

You might want to correct Honeycomb if this is not the agreement. All of us who have unfortunately ordered from Amazon have no other means of chasing our orders and are being treated like mushrooms by Amazon.

I'm not sure where the confusion is, but Dave's statement in the message you cited is accurate and does not disagree with what Marius shared with you.

Aerosoft is the distributor for Honeycomb in Europe, any company who sells Honeycomb brand products in Europe receives them from Aerosoft. If someone pre-ordered a Honeycomb product from any business in Europe, then can contact Aerosoft for information should then need it.  They can also contact the company from which they placed an order, but Aerosoft is the best source of information.

Please understand that I'm not speaking for Marius, he's the best source of information (and really, REALLY GREAT at what he does!).  I'm just trying to show that the message you quoted contains accurate information.

Hi Dave, Thanks for the note and clarifying the services Aerosoft provide. You can see that i and perhaps others could interpret the email from Honeycomb in other ways. Dave's Jary's email to me was in response to my question about stock to Amazon UK and to reach out for help. You can understand in this case why Aerosoft have been asked the question by people like me who ordered 5/6 months ago.  Amazon UK have spent weeks/months  promising dates then updates from their so called 'Fulfilment Team' which never comes. I was not aware Aerosoft provided product support and information only for people like me who have ordered elsewhere in Europe.

I understand that Aerosoft use a UK based logistics company to supply Amazon and other UK retailers, my question was whether Aerosoft had any contact with this logistics company after units have been shipped to them. If not then no problem, but if so, it would be good to understand if they have issues supplying Amazon as according to many Amazon agents have told me,  have not been supplied a single unit to date. If this information is not available then no problem. It was just a question.

I guess some of us who ordered from Amazon just massively regret not ordering with Aerosoft or anyone other than Amazon UK from the start.  I've called and spoken to people at Aerosoft and they've been nothing short of friendly, informative and profession given this scenario and the challenges we're all facing right now. I've never questioned their ability and look forward to ordering with them in the future.
