BigRick
Merry Xmas (for those of you that celebrate it) to the FS community! Have a question for you folks out there. Something I have not been able to find is any information on how to change from lbs to kgs and back on the fly while I'm in the planning phase of my flight. I have several aircraft defined as kgs but in the US those aircraft are flown using lbs. I don't really want to have to redefine EVERY one of those aircraft just to have them register lbs. Is there a way to select lbs while I'm planning? Thanx! -Rick
srcooke
Cannot be done Rick, the weights used are from the aircraft entry. If you are not using specific registration entries tied to the specific weights of an addon then create two type entries for each format eg B738KG and B738LBS
phil747fan
it is not a weight change but a unit change and there is no way a flightplanning software will do it ... try look up for the gimli glider to understand why, Stephen s suggestion is the best way to do it.
