Load error for EHAM

Recommended Posts

Dear Aerosoft.

Seems to have encounter some issue with Amsterdam for XP recently

When you fly over or nearby you get a warning stating this scenery may not work properly.

Have tried to reinstall without any solution using version 1.15

Every time I load, this will be entered into X-Plane log file log.txt and I get a warning stating it may not work

[AOS] [2020-11-19.20:09:29] :> Loading airport data from apt file and generating cache D:\X-Plane 11\Custom Scenery\Aerosoft - EHAM Airport Amsterdam\Earth nav data\apt.dat

Any chance you guys are aware of this issue or have a solution towards fixing the issue?

Sad to say but the only current solution is to have the scenery disabled until further fixes is available.

Cheers

There should be an update available adressing this issue, could you please check in your store account if there is a newer version than the one you currently have installed (I'm not sure about the version numbers, sorry for that)?

Will do that FlyAgi, thanks a bunch for the reply : )

EDIT

Logged in and noticed that the latest version on Aerosoft is 1.15 which match the version I have that includes the issue.

Mmmh... the update seemes to be stuck somewhere. Okay, then do the following:

  1. Download the attached file "lchtstrknd.obj"
  2. Copy this file to your folder "Aerosoft - EHAM Airport Amsterdam\custom objects\EHAM"
  3. Overwrite file

The object should work afterwards including updated 11.50 compatible lights.

lchtstrknd.obj

That's cool... But there should be no difference aside from one single brige lighting object, this should not improve the overall lighting of the airport. Anyway, it might look better in 11.50 than before because of the rebuild shaders and a slight improvement in overall atmosphere and lighting.

🙂

This comes from the fruitstand library (as far as your log goes, it's always better to post a complete log file) so you either have to update the fruitstand library or remove it completely.
