Bernard Ducret 6
I know this has been reported countless times already, but it is rather disturbing to take-off with 12 tons of extra fuel in your tank for security (as calculated by Simbrief and shown by the MCDU flight plan page) and find yourself with a -15 tons a few minutes after take-off, that will ultimately grow back to an excess of 11 tons during cruise flight... Any plans to rectify this please?

Deputy Sheriffs Secondator 643 Posted November 16, 2020 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted November 16, 2020 Also are we talking about fuel consumption itself as in the aircraft buring fuel or the fuel predictions in the FMGS? Are you calculating any fuel values with the fuel planner or just entering the values what simbrief gave you?

P3Dv4.5.3 version 1.0.1.0 Fuel calculated with Simbrief includes alternate and 45 minutes and are entered in the fuel loading tool (after rectifying quantities), then loaded through MCDU 3. Quantities thus loaded are correct, and first check on MCDU shows that extra 12 tons will be available at destination, which is correct. When climbing to my flight level, fuel quantity at destination is shown as -15 tons, When levelled at FL 360, fuel quantity at destination is shown as 11 tons. Hence fuel consumption during climb is taken as a constant for the calculation of the destination fuel. Thank you.

Bernard Ducret 6
Thank you, I shall do that as soon as I get the ASUpdater to work again, it is now frozen for some unknown reason.
