Supertrinigamer
Another thing I've been having is a 2% power loss when I start the engine. Sometimes 2, up to 10, and once even a full lock-up! I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. I pump the primer to 0.5 kg/cm2, rotate the prop and prime the cylinders, wait until the gauge reaches 8 to engage the flywheel, have a bit of throttle, but I STILL get the engine damage! How do I stop this??
Root Admin Mathijs Kok Posted September 6, 2020 Root Admin Share Posted September 6, 2020 Are you 100% sure that 2% is not due to temperature, air pressure, air moisture? All these affect engine performance. And I doubt ANY pilot has ever notices a 2% performance power loss in ANY engine.
Supertrinigamer
I am 100% sure. I look at the maintenance panel which tells me it's 2% power that's been lost due to engine block damage. I make sure I don't overdo anything, engine is warmed at 100 degrees celsius from stopping the engine to start again, but I truly cannot find out what is causing it!
