michael1508 0
Most articles recommend to create a new prepar3d.cfg after updating the P3D client. Is this really needed? What's the benefit, if it is still running with the original cfg? And if it is needed, would I then have to recreate all my customized cfg versions (for day, for night, ...) in Simstarter, too? How do you guys do it? Thanks, Michael
Developer Capt. PERO 398 Posted July 21, 2020 Developer Share Posted July 21, 2020 Think that was a community question. But yes it's recommended renewing the configuration files. The latest version of SIMstarter NG P3D detects the new sim version and ask you to import the prepar3d.cfg. That is the only file where SIMstarter takes a copy of. All other configurations are just storing "deactivated" items.
