Developer Hans Hartmann 3694 Posted July 6, 2020 Developer Share Posted July 6, 2020 There's an opening < missing iin most files. Right at the beginning of each file. The lines read ?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> but should be <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> The only correct file is as_crj_prof.xml

Vesku-K 6
Hey. I re-installed AEROSOFT 318-321 airbus package and the a330 AEROSOFT package, but AEROSOFT updater does not work. I also reinstalled it, but no. Everything seems to be xml. file correctly. Any help needed. Aerosft Updater shuts down faultless operation and crashes. I also downloaded the new ASUpader.zip file provided by Mathijs Kok, but that doesn't work either. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <!-- DO NOT MODIFY THIS FILE! --> <ASUpdater Installed="1.5.0.4" /> Help me, please and thanks regards:Vesku-K
Vesku-K 6
I also tried to reinstall MEGA-London-Heathrow-Prof Airport but it gave an App-Data / Roaming error. Is this also an ASUpdater problem? Please login to display this image.

Jens Michlas 10
Dear Mathijs Kok "The Legend" I have win 10 64, and I have put protection on pause on NOD32 Antivirus,... is that sufficient? Now I reinstalled the CRJ prof. still problems. But when I updated the CRJ professional all the problems stared...I have failed to do so when I installed the program and other programs previous. You have always said it was necessary but Nod32 never made these problems.. But NOD32 have been updated as well... In other words I don't know what has happened this time... It crashes when checking for updates.... Regards Jens

Developer Hans Hartmann 3694 Posted July 16, 2020 Developer Share Posted July 16, 2020 The structure seems fine now. But you installed everything into C:\Program Files (x86) which is a folder with limited access rights. This is most likely the reason why you still have problems with the updater. Developer Hans Hartmann 3694 Posted July 19, 2020 Developer Share Posted July 19, 2020 Oh, I "mislooked". It's F:\Program Files (x86), not C:\ However, the XML files for Maastricht, Madrid and Trondheim are still wrong. Each of them starts with "?xml" instead of "<?xml". That opening bracket is very important. Without it, it's not a valid XML file. I fixed them for you and you can download them here: Products folder.zip Overwrite any existing files. Vesku-K 6
Hey Jens. I had reinstalled Airplanes and Airports, but Airport and Updater only worked properly when I turned off my antivirus. Also, I noticed that the A3xx Configurator only works when the antivirus is turned off. Vesku-K edit. I use Navigraph and simbrief, EFB settings only work when I turn off antivirus. Otherwise, it will not install airport information. Vesku-K
Developer Hans Hartmann 3694 Posted July 20, 2020 Developer Share Posted July 20, 2020 Let me be blunt: your anti-virus software sucks big time. I'm not going to recommend anything, but many of the leading PC publications say that the default Windows Defender is surprisingly good and gave it top marks. Developer Hans Hartmann 3694 Posted July 24, 2020 Developer Share Posted July 24, 2020 I googled the error code but it doesn't explain much. All sites I checked talked about multithreading issue. But the ASUpdater is a simple straightforward program which doesn't use any multithreading. I really have no explanation what's happening except that something blocks a function which is vital to the Updater.
Jens Michlas 10
Thank you.. It looks like As-updater don't work on my computer and don't know what to do.... is there is a list which shows the latest version of the sceneries and aircrafts? And manual files that update from the "My Downloads" on aerosoft to the latest updates? All the best.. Jens
