Developer OPabst 2091 Posted June 25, 2020 Developer Share Posted June 25, 2020 Real airports don‘t have only one elevation. LICR runways are between 34 and 84ft in real. As the Sim needs a flat area and a integration in the surrounded mesh, it is often something in the middle of the real thing. Until V4.5 only flat airports was possible (because of AI Traffic), in V5 the Afcad has a Alt parameter at any node to build a sloped runways and taxiways, but only for sim generated taxiways, lines and so on. To bring custom polys lines snd so on, as all expect an Addons airports today, the technique is still missing. So 49ft is more in the realistic range the 95ft.
