LSGG - cannot launch it - freezes then Crashes (Solved)

Hi There,

 

I have a issue with my LSGG scenary with Xplane 11 (Steam Version).

 

1) After installing the LSGG scenario I get the following Custom Scenery structure (Scenery_packs.ini) which I believe is correct, no ? ( I also did put the Log file in attachment)

2) At airpoprt selection screen Xplane 11 classifies the LSGG airport as "Helipad" and no longer as "3D"

3) When selecting this airport and launching the scenario, I get a freeze more or less in the middle of the progress bar ("Finishing asynchronous loading") and then the game crashes

 

Hope you can help since already uninstalled the whole Xplane 11 and reinstalled it twice.

Hello Patrick,

 

Sorry for the delay, but our Forum is very extensive and something like that happens sometimes...

The Log.txt looks ok, but it is not complete.

The LSGG seems to be installed correctly and your hardware is very ok.

 

The message ... asynchronous loading... can take a long time. So please wait .....

 

But may be there is an outdated SAM2 Installed.

So please delete all SAM folders from the Custom Scenery folder and from the Plugins folder of X-Plane 11.

 

Then install the actual SAM2 Base Plugin again with the help of the SAM2 Suite.

Then test again....

 

If it will not work, please send us the whole Log.txt . Close X-Plane 11 befor sending the Log.txt (if possible).

Didn't mean to be rude here . Your scenery seemed so fantastic that I was somehow disappointed that I could not have it working for a couple of days.

Your trick made my day, problem is fixed.

Still takes around 4 minutes to have the scenery loaded but that's a very minor issue when I see the result !

 

Thanks again for your professionalism. Be sure I'll purchase some other stuff from your shop very soon.
