Recommended Posts

Guys, the aerial photography that will be included in the release for Bratislava is already in the simulator. You can watch it :)

Thanks to one of our users and his help, I managed to find a supplier. For which many thanks to him! Ground polygons look great in my opinion!

Now I can safely go back to building a city :)

This is how the Bratislava Castle will look like. The heights have already been adjusted, there will be several levels in height, stairs, backyard with outbuildings, etc. Of course there will be a parliament and houses that are located in a circle below the castle wall.

Across the street from the castle, I want to make the historical part of the city.

Guys, there will be two such parts of the buildings.
You see one. The textures I will do for most of them are of the same type: historical and modern. For some buildings, custom textures will be made.
Of course bridges and Kamzík

This is how the buildings look in SketchUp.

The building is elongated taking into account the terrain.
If you notice, the roofs of the buildings are flat.
Each building will be edited and where there are sharp-angled roofs, of course, the roofs will be the same as in real life.

Thanks, guys.
When I finish doing the project, I can safely go to Bratislava and work as a guide :)
I already know where the Embassy of the United States of America, the Canadian Embassy, the Philharmonic Hall, the Hans Christian Andersen monument, St. Martin's Cathedral, etc. are located :)

Actually, what happens today.
I apologize to those who might see their beloved building different from what it looks like and get a little upset.
But if I make each building as it looks, it means that my "roof" will go :)))

Roof textures will of course be improved. This is a test case.
In general, it looks like this.
There will also be a building plot nearby, where the Panorama Towers is located. In addition, there will be three small areas near the airport.

I apologize to the moderators that there are so many posts in a row. But I wanted to show it today.

The screenshot of the Panorama Towers house.

Default bridges will need to be removed. So far, my attempts to remove the bridges have failed, but I think it will be necessary to consult with more experienced developers.

Good evening everyone.
I think that I have finished the main stage of work with this section of the city.
The arrangement of trees and lighting is planned.

If you paid attention, the screenshots do not include the Bratislava Castle and the Parliament building.
I deliberately don't take screenshots with them.
From tomorrow I will continue to work on the

Quite a lot has been done these days. Houses built between Lafranconi and SNP bridges. The bridges themselves are also made.
The default bridges in Bratislava no longer bother me, I found a solution to how to remove them, made several ships that will move along the Danube river.

The screenshot of the Lafranconi bridge.

Guys, work on Bratislava does not stop for a single day.
Hopefully next week I can show screenshots from P3DV5.
At this stage, there is not much work left. Arrange trees in some places. I need to finish the bridges and edit small moments, and then make Panorama City.

And return to the airport :)

I thought about how best to make Kamzik. And I decided to cut Kamzik like a pie :)
Of course, I will remove everything superfluous :)

P.S.
Kamzik in the simulator. The bridges are also ready. Starting tomorrow, I will start working on City Panoramas. I think that I will need to work with the city for two or three weeks and then I will return to the airport.
By the end of this year, I plan to complete the Bratislava project.
The organizational work will remain with the release and I hope that in January 2021 we will see Bratislava.
