A330 problems (posted here because I couldn't find the A330 forum)

I recently bought the A330 professional for my Prepar3DV4 a few months back and I started playing it yesterday as I came back home then. My problem seems to be that during climb to cruise level I am facing some major problems. What happens is that during climb when I have enabled AP around 1000 feet, the aircraft begins shaking badly and starts giving me massive lagspikes as if there is turbulence (mind you, there is none, I don't use ActiveSky or any other third party weather system whatsoever, just the default LM P3DV4 settings, fair weather) It continues to the point that the aircraft literally becomes unplayable after takeoff. I don't know what it could be. I have a decent laptop for gaming and flight simulation and all other aircrafts like the A320 extended, PMDG 777 work just fine for me. I don't know what could be affecting this. Should I turn down graphic settings?

Please try to assist me with this.

Thanks,

Raven

I have moved your topic to the correct forum.

Additionally please answer the following questions:
- what is you framerate when this happens?

- do you use any weathertool, if so which one?

- run the attached tool and post the output

1 - Framerate would be around 10 or 15 fps when that happens as you saw in that video.

2 - Nope.

I would also like to point out that I haven't come back to my PC in a few months.

Also I'd like to point out the framerate drops at the shaking when I am in the VC. When I'm in the outside view, the framerate increases but the shaking still persists.

Update your P3Dv4.5 at least to Hotfix 2

Also what exact version of the A330 are you runnning? You can check this via the ASUpdater.

I probably forgot my license key when I bought it in mid-2019 or so, oof. Anyway I can fix this other than upgrading my P3D?

Probably running the first version of the a330 though

This has reduced a bit, but this shaking still persists. You can see I am not moving my mouse yoke at all. The sound flickering is a problem with my recording system.

It seems I fixed most of the problems. The fps drop is gone and the shaking is now at a point where it is now playable, but not fully enjoyable. I did this by adding some virtual ram.

1.0.0.0

If so, download the latest version which is 1.0.1.0 from you shopaccount, uninstall the old version and make fresh install. After that run the ASUpdater and update to version 1.0.2.0 (enable experimental updates in the ASUPdater via the Configuration button).

After playing around a bit, I realise that my elevators are making random inputs up and down.

If you're using ActiveSky for P3Dv4, would you please try the options file below and see if that makes a difference?

Aerosoft CFD Settings V1.1.zip

To use, place the file in the same place as your original configuration file, start ActiveSky, select Options, and the User Presets and then select the file and restart ActiveSky.

Also, can someone explain me the pitch and roll stability and aileron, rudder and elevator effectiveness in the aircraft.cfg?

No, we dont want to play customers with those settings.
