No there is nothing in the event viewer when I click on fly the sim closes not even an loading screen. And nothing in the event viewer. I also reinstalled the A330 and restarted my PC after the installation.

I have the same problem.
I see the A330s on the aircraft selection screen, but when I select any of them the screen goes black for 1/2 minutes and the simulator closes.
If I select a different aircraft from the A330 in simulator it works correctly but if I change to one of the A330 the same thing happens again.
When I enter the simulator I can see in Options / Add-ons the Aerosoft A330 Professional installed (as administrator) in F: \ P3D Addons \ Aerosoft A330 Pro V5.
After doing the installation of the A330 and when entering P3Dv5, it has not asked me for authorization for that Add-on, in the usual way.

Removing the TrueGlass folder in the A330 Profesional did it for me. Located in C:\Users\xxx\OneDrive\Documenten\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\Aerosoft A330 Pro V5\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft A333 RR Professional for me

The same here, I have renamed the TrueGlass folder and there is no problem.
But I think that if Aerosoft has put that folder there, it is for a good thing and I would like to know if it is necessary and if so, what solution is there.

Yeb that does the trick I though TrueGlass was still in beta so we will see I guess but for now thank you :)

You are going to have a lot of issues if you keep your Airbus installed on your One Drive (out on the Internet). Best to disable One Drive for your Documents folder and then uninstall, and reinstall per the procedure below.

So Dave, could I assume that we have an issue with Ver 1.0.2.0 for the 330.

This is the version that is awaiting my download at my account at the Aerosoft Shop.

Gents, Mathijs stated, that the Trueglass is 3rd party software that still is in beta for v5. During the next days/weeks we hope to receive a stable version.

Alternative you can disable Trueglass by removing/renaming the Trueglass.dll in the [simrootfolder]\gauges folder.

What you will miss now are raindrops on the glass.

Removing Trueglass files has not resolved this for me. Still CTD after selecting aircraft screen.

Exactly the same error I get when trying to run the PMDG 747 & the QW 787.!!

KERNELBASE.dll error in eventvwr.

So you have a different problem.

You use v5HF1?

Have you tried a new prepar3d.cfg?

LOL, yes believe me I have tried everything!!. Even a complete format and reinstall of Win10 and V5 latest version.

I think its related to simconnect and something LM may have to fix.

I have had it now with V5, many hours trying to get things working just gets damn tedious and frustrating.
