Tanatat 2 Posted May 19, 2020 Share Posted May 19, 2020 Since the 1.0.1.0 update, this issue (picture attached) has occurred during phases with vertical profile (climb, step climb, descent). The route (sometimes the waypoints) would disappear during the entire changing level duration, and return after level flight has resumed. The aircraft tracked the route normally throughout the entire flight. Other display modes also returned the same issue. Using DIR function with Abeam points would cause pseudo waypoints to appear on the ND unconnected. Route was checked and verified during the planning stage (with plan page). If possible, can you turn on all Loggin in the Configurator, and when you have this problem copy, zip and send us the Airbus Data folder? That would be a big help. Tanatat 2 Posted May 25, 2020 Author Share Posted May 25, 2020 Update: May 25th, 2020. I am unable to replicate the issue thus far after conducting 6 flights. These include 4 short-haul flights and 2 medium-haul flights. I have yet to attempt a long-haul flight since the issue was first sighted. It is also noted that after the issue with the display, added Fixes and ARCs would not appear on the ND. Tanatat 2 Posted June 30, 2021 Author Share Posted June 30, 2021 Dear All, I would like to confirm that the display issue persists with the 1.0.5.0 release (Navdata AS2106). Furthermore, when starting a new leg after a long haul flight that encountered the issue without resetting the FMGS (restarting P3D), the problem will occur even with shorter routes which used to display normally. Other map overlays (WPT, VOR.D, NDB, ARPT, WX, TERR, Traffic) displayed fine. Another observation was that setting the 'selected mode' on the V/S knob (any +- V/S value) returns normal route display on the ND (Fixes and arcs still do not display). Reactivating the 'managed mode' causes the route to be cut-off or disappeared again. I have attached the images of the ND when the V/S panel is in managed and selected modes along with this post. Please note that the other overlays other than the inputted MCDU data do show up fine in both modes. Thank you very much and best regards! Please login to display this image.
