Recommended Posts

Recently got the A320 and it was working fine for about a month. But now when I go to load my company route created by simbreif fsx crashes or none of the way points are in the legs page. have tried to change the Full route in the fmgs.ini file (file is attached below)20205282848_FMGS.ini to 0 but it didn't change anything.

here is my flight plan CYYZCYUL01.flp

Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the forums!

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties.

Are you sure that you're using the same AIRAC data for Simbrief and the Aircraft?  This is the most likley cause, especially since everything was working before.

thank you for the quick reply!I checked and the airbus is on airac 1410 but simbreif is on airac 1903. Simbreif only has one free AIRAC and I dont have navigrap to update the airac. Is there a free way to do this or do I have to buy a navigraph subscription. Is there a way to update the airbuses AIRAC?

Again thank you for the help.

Hello Samule,

You are correct about this.  I've notified the appropriate person and we'll provide you a status of this matter here in this thread.

I'm not sure what, if any, resolution there may be for this, but you are indeed correct in that you can purchase an NavData (AIRAC) subscription to remedy your current situation.

My apologies for the inconvenience.  Hopefully we can get back to you on this very quickly my friend.

Best wishes!

You are most welcome. I'm not too sure what we can do about this though as I believe it's not presently possible to unlock NavDataPro data sets.  Mathijs knows far more about this than I do, and I'm sure he'll get back to you ASAP.  In the long run, it's probably better to get a subcription for NavData.  In fact, a situation very similar to this is why oi purchased NavData myself many moons ago.

Also, if you are considering joining the Aerosoft Flight Sim Community and flying Connected Flight Deck with us (it's awesome) then you'll want to get a subcription anyway.

Best wishes Samule!

update: I seem to be experiencing  the same issue in all of my aircraft. Could this be a problem with FSX? I dont really understand because this has been working fine for the last 4 years and I didn't change a single thing. I do realize that my AIRAC is out of date but why would this crash FSX? I have been using an outdated airac for as long as I can remember so why has this been working perfect for so long and now out of nothing my whole sim crashes?

not sure if this helps understand my situation anymore but when I checked windows event viewer it says that the module crashing is MSVCR80.dll

Well ,it doies not sy that you use XP10/11, but as it doesnt find your FSX:SE installation, it simply means that your FSX:SE installation is broken. The tool simply looks into the registry and if it doesnt find the correct information, something is wrong with your installation.

So in a first step you should contact Steam how to fix this.

Now that we have some additional information it's not certain this is caused by a NavData issue, however it doesn't rule it out either.

If you are using the same route and same NavData for all the aircraft that allow for an imported route, then that could conceivably cause the CTD via a Divide by Zero or infinite line mathematical error.  Most developers do try to prevent this from occurring in their code, but I've seen this happen myself back in FSX, if memory serves it was with the PMDG NGX and the Leonardo MD- 80 (circa 2009/2010).

Is there a solution or something I can do about this? Should i uninstall my NGX?

I am really considering just building a better pc and switch to xp 11 lol

I was on my phone this morning when I read all the replies to this thread, and I missed the event viewer calling out MSVCR80.dll.   With FSX:SE this is usually related to MS Visual 2005 (32-bit version).

You can either uninstall and reinstall the MS Visual 2005 (32-bit version) or you can download and run the Dot Net Repair Tool.  Either way, take screen shots of the relevant displays with the installer or Fix tool and post them here for us?

For now, I would not uninstall any flight sim products.

Just one question: do you still use different AIRAC cycles in your Airbus and SimBrief?

This is in general a big "NO NO".

Everything can happen when you are using two different navigation database versions, from missing way points or airways and up to crashes. In your case the databases are 5 years apart from each other.

You simply have to use identical AIRAC cycles in your aircraft and planing tools.

I am and it has been working fine for the last 4 years. I cant afford to get Navigraph to update it. I just dont understand how something works for FOUR years and then all of a sudden stops. Is there a free way to update my AIRAC

I got navigraph and updated my AIRAC but I still get a CTD when loading the flight plan.

I uninstalled the A320 and reinstalled it. no longer getting the CTD but there are only some waypoints showing up. AIRAC is up to date and the same everywhere.
