Path problem with Livery Manager

Recommended Posts

I have the A320/321 Professional and P3D V4.5 and since applying the V1310 update have not been able to reload my addon liveries. The problem is that the path that P3D recognises for the liveries that came with the plane is User/Documents/ Aerosoft/ A320321 Professional/SimObjects/ Airplanes while the path used by Livery Manager is Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft Airbus A320 CFM (for example). The path shown in the box near the top of the Livery Manager is C:Prepar3Dv4 and I cannot find any way to change it. Which is the correct path and how can I fix it so the two applications use the same one? Any advice is appreciated.

We are all trying to get it solved here. Apparently it’s not a “software issue” although we are all having the same problem.

Hope we get some resolution soon!

The livery manager grabs the install path from the add-on.cfg

it checks first the one in programdata and then the one in appdata.

If the path is wrong, please check if your add-on.cfg is consistent and has no double or wrong entries.

Top left in the livery manager is the selection for p3dv4 or v5 if both are installed. That is no path indication.

Thanks masterhawk. I didn't find an entry for LIvery Manger in add-on.cfg, other than one for the Aerosoft A3x Professional. Also it seems that Livery Installer has superseded Livery Manager for use with P3Dv4 but that won't work for me either (sigh)...

There is no entry for the livery manager in the add-on.cfg., as it is no addon. The entries for the Airbus must be correct. Attach both add-on.cfg files to your next post, so we can see if there is something wrong.

And please best a screenshot of your livery manager problem.

I‘m gonna be totally confused what people are talking about. Livery Manager, Livery Installer, old one, new one...picture tells more than thousand words...
