Airbus A320 not capturing ILS

Recommended Posts

I have been flying the Airbus A320/321 for a few months now.  Since last week I cannot get the aircraft to intercept the LOC for an ILS approach.  Yesterday a total disaster and today a straightforward approach to EHAM runway 06 and will not establist on the LOC however the GS was coming in later but by then a near disaster.  I have updated Navigraph recently and my aircraft is using the current software, I am flying with P3D v4 .5.  I have selected LOC and Approach  buttons.  I have landed hundreds of times in the past only recently has the aircraft stopped captureing the ILS.  Thank you

Then either you forgot an important step or something significantly has changed.

Also please post a screents of the situation, where we can see the PFD, ND and FCU.

What exact version of the Airbus are you using and run the attached tool and post the output here:

I did a flight today and the A320 captured the ILS, a friend of mind downloaded some software which looked at the airports installed and the Navigraph update, sorry I cannot remember the name of the software but as I say it did pick up the ILS on a runway that I tried to land the other day LSZH.  Here is the information you asked for:

Does this tell you if I still may have issues?  Many thanks

The reason might simply be that the frequency in the navdatabase differs from the frequency in the scenery. This happens often at default airports with outdated data or addon airports where the frequency recently has changed. You can check this in the sim on the flightplan page. There are several ways to solve this:

- enter the frequency manualy in the Airbus

- update the data of default airports from this site: https://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html
