osmangngrr 0 Posted April 21, 2020 Share Posted April 21, 2020 Hi fellas I'm using the Cologne/Bonn professional and have noticed that the tower won't let me use runway 06/24 for take-off and landings. Even at South-East winds. When I take a look at the real world airport, the runways are in use. Is there a way to activate those runways or should I accept it like it is? Many thanks. Emi 5161 Posted May 8, 2020 Share Posted May 8, 2020 24/06 is almost never used for takeoffs unless crosswind on the main runway approaches operational limitations. I believe in a year and a half based at CGN I used it maybe 3 or 4 times. Each of them during major storms only.
