Meyerflyer 154
Hi, can you confirm the A320 professional is not meant to be able to taxi on single engine? I did it once (just shut down engine 1), but received some numbers of warning sounds and the aircraft veered heavily to one side, which I felt was unrealistically strong. I needed so much tiller input to compensate, I can't image it to be this bad in RL. I guess the Bus is not programmed for this, right? Would be a nice feature though, as in RL, some airlines taxi to the gate on single engine to save fuel. For example for long taxiway routes such as in Amsterdam or Frankfurt. Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted April 17, 2020 Aerosoft Share Posted April 17, 2020 Well the warnings are all pretty accurate, we do feel the driving behavior is indeed a bit overdone but still manageable. For sure nothing will be changed on this in these versions. We believe it will be better modeled in FS2020.
