mozart77 0 Posted April 15, 2020 Share Posted April 15, 2020 Very disappointed to see that Skiathos has been "updated" but is still missing the tarmac extension to the North of the existing tarmac, which is in front of the terminal building. The new tarmac is five times the size of the current one. It is thanks to that new tarmac that Skiathos can now accomodate more planes on the ground, and current AI plans reflect that surge in traffic. The new tarmac was opened in 2016. I attach the current map of tarmacs/parkings stands from Navigraph. The entire tarmac with stands 1-5 is missing. Do the developers foresee to update the update? It is a bit sad to see this otherwise very interesting airport and very beautiful scenery product being out-of-date in such a material way that it simply cannot accomodate the traffic going there.
