cappy0815 0
Hi, I am quite new here. Aesterday I downloaded Xplane 11 DEMO for Linux. The installation performed without any issue. At the end the sim started up by itself. Now I have two questions: 1. How to start the application after rebooting the computer? There is no start-menu icon or something at the desktop 2. My computer is a i3 3.4GHz with 8GB ram which is surely not a mass. ... but it is matching the minimum requirements almost exactely. The performance of the sim yesterday was not playable. I reduced all details and stuff to the min. without any success. Is there any help for me?
Administrator Heinz Flichtbeil 1609 Posted March 28, 2020 Administrator Share Posted March 28, 2020 Hello, welcome here.... To start the sim go into the installed X-Plane 11 folder and then start the file "x-plane.bin" (or X-Plane if you don't see the file extensions). The Performance depends on your X-Plane 11 settings and the settings for the weather (visibility range) and many more ... Important is also your grafic card. How much dedicated videoRAM has it build in? Greets heinz
