Greg, are you on the latest CRJ Version?

Some version before there was an issue where only the CRJ700 has the RAAS active.

RAAS works with Version 2.0.0.3 and.all CRJ Pro´s well.

Please check the Master Volume if you open the RAAS-Profile for the CRJ.

Yes, you can reinstall RAAS but before you do please load the aircraft and check under Addons in P3D that it's not been disabled.  If it's not been disabled, you can install RAAS by running the RAAS installer located in the "SupportFiles" folder where you installed the Airbus.  I'm not sure where or if the same installer is present for the CRJ (as I don't have it installed) but I assume it should be the same.

Reinstalled RAAS for my A330. OK now. The CRJ model 900 and 1000 still do not have RAAS after reinstalling the software. I ran the update also with no luck. Is there a way to run the RAAS program for the CRJ Pro so I don't have to reinstall the CRJ? I also checked the P3d aded on menue and the 900 and 1000 do not have RAAS listed like the 700 or 550.

If you asking me, then the answer is that I don't know (see my post above, which may help  you).

Best wishes.

First have a look into the RAAS Profil Folder:

...\AppData\Roaming\RAASPRO\Profiles

If there are no profiles for the CRJ900Pro and CRJ1000Pro, you can create them yourself.

To do this, start P3Dv4, load the CRJ700Pro, open the Add-ons menu, open RAAS.
Create (name of the aircraft)
Make your settings
Save
Link to current model ( important )

Do the same for the CRJ1000Pro

But you have the profiles into the RAAS profiles Folder?

Greg, like suggested from Otto make a clean new Installation outside of C:\Program Files (x86). This Folder is protected from Windows against changes und make sometimes strange Problems.

I reinstalled into the Program folder. Still no RAAS for 900 or 1000. I next created profiles for the 900 and 1000. Loaded the CRJ 1000 and the add-om menu does not show RAAS PRO.  How can I add them if the RAAS menu is not there?  Yes the profile folder shows the 900 and 1000. Is there a way to just run RAAS? I can't find a folder or exe. to run it.

I can only strongly advice you to install nothing under C:\Program Files (x86).

Did a support ticket with FSCrew2 and they found the acft cfg files on the 900 and 1000 have the wrong max gross weight entered. Changed the numbers and now it works fine!

Hello Greg.  Would you let us know what FS2Crew said so we can check our aircraft.cfg files - thanks.

Check the 900 cfg file for max_gross_weight. Change to 82500. The 1000 should be 92300. Open the sim and select 900 or 1000 and open the add-on drop down menu. Open the RAAS to make sure it’s turned on.

I told you, sometimes the simulator is strange 🙂 although I think that this happens during the installation.

The entries in the respective aircraft.cfg`s correspond to the information given in the CRJ brochure of Bombardier.

As long as the advice helps 🙂

Bryan York (FS2Crew) emailed me a few days ago and asked me to add a couple of variables for use with RAAS. It's very well possible that he wants to use them to fix this issue.
