AS Airbusse CTD after aircraft selection

Recommended Posts

The Aerosoft Airbuses, whether A320/321 or A330, have worked excellently so far. But since a few days they let the P3DV4 crash when I want to start a flight with them. Re-installation of the new A330 version didn't bring success either.

There is no error message or similar after the CTD.

I'm a little confused.

Greetings from Tomas

So something must have changed on your system, like new software, updates of Windows, drivers other software etc.

Regarding the error: check the WIndows eventviewer for any entry at the time of the crash.

You can either take a look at the Add-on.cfg file for P3D (there are two different ones) and check and remove any double Airbus entries, or follow the procedure below, but I recommend the procedure below as it's far more thorough and complete.

Best wishes.

As Dave said, looking in the add-ons.cfg is a good idea. Last week when I made a fresh install of my A330 it simply didnt appear in P3D. Looking at the add-ons.cfg I found out, that the Central Managment Tool of a "famous" scenery developer put an uncorrect line into the add-ons.cfg preventing the Bus from being installed.

Unfortunately both pieces of advice were not successful.
I worked through the pdf from Dave step by step, no success.

I suppose it is due to the .NET Framwork environment. But even here the mentioned tool or a new installation did not work.

Without an error message, it is nearly impossible to help. And TBH I do not believe that there is no entry in the Windows Eventviewer. Are you 100% sure, that you checked it in the Windows Logs/Applications?

From the data you sent, there are compared to mine 3 differences:

- your are using P3D prof, but that doesnt matter

- MS Visual C++ 2005 x64 is missing

- MS Visual C++ 2013 is not up to date

I am delighted to announce that the 330 is flying again. And please do not ask why, I have no idea.

Thank you for your patience and continued support!
