Mitchelwings U2 (PBR version)

Recommended Posts

We love big aircraft but we also love small aircraft. Even very very small aircraft. Like the Mitchelwing U2. It may not be the easiest aircraft to fly and makes a noise that scares A380's away but it is so much fun to fly. And here you have one, for free. No strings attached. A gift from dave Rowberry to all our friends.

Actually, you shouldn't fly in this dirty weather. But what you don't do for some pretty pictures. Like here in the Sauerland near Sundern and at the Möhnesee ...

Cool Plane, but an absolute frame killer !! 😞

How can such a small plane eat so many frames ?

How odd.... never had it called a frame killer ! in P3d V4 and V5  I find it has the same effect on the FR as the default Piper Cub

This is really quite amazing !?
I tried it with version 4.5 and version 5 - the same everywhere ...
...everywhere the same bad performance compared to
all other airplanes (also big calibres like maddog x,...) - hmm... something is wrong there...

Maybe some system setting on my part, that doesn't fit the little machine !?

I still have to figure it out somehow...

My system should be more than sufficient for everything that has to do with flight simulation - as I said, otherwise everything works perfectly...

My specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 3800X,

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super,

RAM 32 GB

If I'm the only one it doesn't work for, then I'll just have to live with it... 😉

try the original non PBR version

  http://www.aerosoft2.de/downloads/AS_MITCHELL-WING-U2_V101.exe

I made changes because there was some shading problems on transparencies in P3d V4, but they are not evident in P3d V5

Many thanks for this installer !
But you need the 'Microsoft Flightsimulator'!?
If I enter a path to p3dv4 or p3dv5 the message appears: '...Microsoft Flight Simulator not found...'!
