The Livery Installer manual (or rather, two images)

This livery installer is so simple we think the manual consists of one images. Here they are:

Please login to display this image.

Start the tool (find it via the Windows Start menu) and find your livery zipfile. Drag and drop the zip file on the tool. And that is basically it. The tool will find out for what aircraft it is, note in the image I drag a CRJ livery on the A318/A319, the tool could not care less and will handle it.  Right now all Airbusses, CRJ's and the DC-8 are supported. Please note the livery package need to follow the guidelines (attached as download).

That's all. done. Told you, one image was all you needed.

For repainters

Packaging a livery  to be used by the livery installer is almost as easy and almost fully automatic. The repainter just needs to have the aircraft installed in the sim, select it, click the Package button and give it a name.

Here is the tool: AS_LIVERY_SETUP_P3DV4_V1000.zip

An updated version 2.2.0.0 is available now: AS_LIVERY_SETUP_P3DV4_V2200.zip

It's a full installer this time.

Version 2.2.0.0

- Improved handling of old livery packages (see included "Livery Troubleshooting.pdf" for details

- Handling of 7-zip and RAR archives

- Support for Aerosoft Updater

Version 2.1.0.0

- Added Prepar3D v5 support

Version 2.0.0.0
- Bumped to version 2.0.0.0 to avoid confusion with old LiveryManager
- Fixed an issue where the ATC flight number wouldn't be set correctly

Important Note on version 2.2.0.0:

If you see a "Aerosoft CRJ Professional" and a "Aerosoft CRJ Pro v5" in the products menu, please exit the Livery Installer, open the explorer, go to "<Documents>\Aerosoft\LiveryInstaller\Products" and delete the file "as_crj_prof_v5.xml". Make sure, it has "v5" in the name! If you accidentally delete the wrong one, just run the installer again.
