INIT REQUEST ?

VAA3319 is not a valid flightplan it is only a flight number.  Behind a flight number are no more data.

What you need is a valid flighplan (xxx.flp)  in your Aerosoft A3XXX Flightplans Folder . Then typing in the field "From/To" your Departure / Destination Airport like EGLL/LSZH.

If the flightplan folder contains a flightplan with this name, it is displayed for selection.

Wolfgang....

Then what is the purpose if the INIT REQUEST on the MCDU.

I am not a fan of dead LSK's or buttons in flightsim.
