Kurt2404 3
I am missing the buttons for the calls "ECAM RECALL" and "BRAKE TEMPERATURE". Maybe I am short-sighted but I don't see both of them...
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted January 20, 2020 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted January 20, 2020 The checklist item "ECAM RECALL" is done by pressing the "RCL" button on the CP. There is no "Brake Temperature" button. Brake temperature is monitored by pressing the "WHEEL" button on the CP.
Kurt2404 3
Thanks for the reply! "ECAM RECALL": No response, just repeating. Alternative solution is skipping. "RCDR": Text on the overhead panel wrong (GND CTL) "BRAKE TEMPERATURE": Will check and test.

Kurt2404 3
Voice Recorder label (RCDR) vs. label Ground Control (GND CTL). Is this correct? Please login to display this image.
Deputy Sheriffs The Dude 6537 Posted January 20, 2020 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted January 20, 2020 Why shouldn't this be correct?
DaveCT2003 2553
In a later version, the Ground Control button will play a special little David Bowie tune. This is ground control to Major Tom.... From the FCOM: "On the ground, personnel can energize the CVR (Cockpit Voice Recorder) manually by pressing GND CTL pushbutton." RCDR GND CTL pushbutton (springloaded) ON : The Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and the Flight Data Recorders are active. The ON light is on. AUTO : The Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and the Flight Data Recorders are active, according to the logic. The system automatically switches from ON to AUTO at the first engine start, and also in case of an electrical transient.
