craigy 20
Hi I have noticed that on a number of occasions that when the speed brake is deployed to either increase ROD or reduce speed, the engines spool up until the speed brakes are retracted. Is this normal for the A330 or a glitch? Regards Craig
Deputy Sheriffs Secondator 643 Posted December 27, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 27, 2019 Hello Craig, Could you please post a screenshot where we can see your PFD when you extend the speedbrakes. It does not sound normal for engines to spool up and I will have a look into it.
craigy 20
Hi I have worked out what the problem is. The forward slash is programmed to deploy the speed brakes and in flight when used, the speed brakes extend to the maximum instead of 50% I think is the maximum in flight. I now use the mouse to move the speed brake lever in flight and no problems
