I just had this CTD on my flight from KPDX-PHNL. Here is my event log. Like the poster above, I was clearing waypoints and inserting a Direct-To when I had the CTD. This is the second one I've had out of my 15 or so flights so it doesn't happen often but it does occur.

I had a CTD for the first time today with the A330. Latest experimental update. I was in the air in a holding and adding and fixing waypoints in the FMC. Sounds similar to the other crashes.
