Neepie 0
I was under the impression that the weather suitability period used in the ETOPs section is from 1 hour prior to first possible use, until 1 hour after? However in some cases the suitability period is only 20min long, can anyone explain what these times represent? Regards, Martin
srcooke 422
You'll need a despatcher to confirm this Martin but the FAA and EASA rules differ: Validity period based on earliest to latest (FAA) or one hour after latest (EASA) expected arrival times. PFPX looks to apply FAA.
