airway 8
I have installed the A330 as per Volume 1 but the aircrafts are not shown in the vehicles menu. How do I instruct P3Dv4 to find the Aerosoft A330 Professional folder? Regards Roland
Deputy Sheriffs Secondator 643 Posted December 13, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 13, 2019 Do you have following lines in your add-ons.cfg file located C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 [Package.X] (replace x with any number) PATH=[installation path of your A330] ACTIVE=true REQUIRED=false

Deputy Sheriffs Secondator 643 Posted December 13, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 13, 2019 Did you try reinstalling the A330?
airway 8
Yes, I did and removed the directories manually. I will give one more try, i.e. I wil uninstall and reinstall and revert back.
Deputy Sheriffs Secondator 643 Posted December 13, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 13, 2019 Also is the issue that you cannot see the aircraft preview or that you cannot see the A330 at all on the aircraft list?
airway 8
I do not see it at all
airway 8
The sane after re.install. I have no entry in the add-ons menu (as described in the vol. 1 an entry should be there in order to disable it).

airway 8
Does the add-on.xml file contains all the necessary information? Product version txt-file is attached as well add-on.xml Product.cfg
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted December 13, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 13, 2019 All good. Do you have P3D currently running. If so, shut it down, wait at least 5 minutes, uninstall the A330, reinstall it and try again.
airway 8
Unfortunately still the same. I executed the following steps: 1. uninstalled A330 and manually deleted ...\documents\aerosoft\general 2. ran CCCleaner to repair registry 3. downloaded the A330 zip file from Aerosoft download section (seems to be an other installer as I had before) 4. turned antivirus off 5. installed A330 6. fired up the sim 7. made the update to 1.0.0.
airway 8
Found the culprit. It was the add-ons.cfg in the c:\programdata\...\lockheed martin folder as there were 2 entries starting with "0" as per attached pic. I renumbered the add-ons.cfg so that the aerosoft A330 starts now with "1" and the last entry is now 29 instead of 28 (see 2nd pic). Thank you for your support. You can close the topic.
