Benni1994 0
Hello, firstly, I'm very happy with the new A330. Currently I'm in flight ZRH-JFK on Vatsim and there is a discrepance between the Flightsimulator altitude and the one in the plane (the plane thinks I'm 1000ft higher than the Sim). Is this a known bug? Best regards, Benni
Deputy Sheriffs Secondator 643 Posted December 13, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 13, 2019 Could you try recycling the QNH by pushing it to some QNH setting and then setting it STD again by pulling. Do this also on the FO side? Does this change the altitude?
Benni1994 0
I can change the QNH normally, at the moment i'm flying at FL380 (SIM) with QNH 0980.. if i set it to STD i'm at FL390 for the plane.
Benni1994 0
Nevermind, it was just a coincidence.. the pressure differs so the difference was normal.. sry for bothering!
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted December 13, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 13, 2019 When you reach the TRANS Altitude after TO you have to set baro always to STD!
Benni1994 0
i know, i always do but i am on Vatsim and i saw the altitude was 1000ft off to my cruise level.. so i thought that cant be right, but as i said a few minutes ago, it was just a fail from me, everything is working fine!
