Hello, I am not seeing the strobe lights properly displayed.  Every once and a while (maybe 20-30 seconds?) I will get a single flash of thew wing and tail lights simultaneously, but they are not functioning as they should for me.

If all your settings are as advised in the manual the only reason can be that some of the defaulf effects files are changed. Unfortunately some add-ons do that.

What settings in the manual could impact strobe lights?

 

I have not had this issue with any other aircraft so I’m not clear what could be changed and what effects are being called in by the A330.

Check the animation settings, but the chance your files were altered by something else is pretty big.

Thanks, I'm not aware of any settings related to animations in P3D?  There is a setting for special effects, which I know impacts the strobes on one other aircraft, I have this set at full.  The manual does not specify a setting for this that I can find.

 

What effect files are used by the A330?  I looked in the aircraft.cfg and did not see any entries for strobe effects files in the lighting section.

Ahhh indeed the effects are in the model. So it could only be the bitmaps in the effects folders that might be replaced. Make sure those are default.

Almost all light settings affect how these effect look. I can recreate what you see by setting a low brightness.
