Wing flapping at gate

Recommended Posts

Hi

As soon as I set the weather using Opus the wings start flapping whilst stationary

Can this be looked at please?

Also can we have a proper wing view from the cabin? The current wing view is in the hold. Can it please be raised to Cabin window level

Thanks

I also want to underline this bug as currently its the most annoying. This is not something that happens sometimes, rather rare. It happens all the time, the wings never stop flapping while stationary at the gate..It needs to get addressed as priority.

This is a known issue of P3D, for example the latest PMDG aircraft show exactly the same. We have however an idea on how to fix it and will test that over the next few days.

LoL none of my other payware aircraft do this...Just yours.

I was NOT mistaken.

It is a P3D bug and the PMDG aircraft suffer from the same thing as they just confirmed to me. Robert also explained it to me.  "P3D has a “twitch” that nearly all aircraft suffer from.  The spring method on the landing gear vibrates about 1 cm and it is visible at the wingtips.  It is cured by setting the parking brake. "  The 'floppier' the wings the more obvious this obviously is.  With the wings of the A330 about the most flexible as they come the effect is rather visible.

Now we know the cause we probably can fix it.
