A330 and VR (possible HDR issue in Flyinside)

Hi, I just read in the system requirements for the A330 that HDR needs to be activated. Now I fly P3D exclusively in VR using Flyinside which requires HDR to be turned off. Is there a way to use the A330 regardless or is not to be?

Thanks for your quick reply and good thing you mentioned the Crj. I didn't check the system requirements here and just went for it. There is no problem using the aircraft in Flyinside. So I guess I'll give the bus a shot.

No. it would mean a complete rebuild of the texture set and many many weeks of work.

The CRJ contains one such texture for one specific issue, it does not include a set of non PBR textures.

Okay, thanks. Then I will give HDR another chance. I once switched it off because my nights in P3D were not really dark anymore. I will try the settings you recommend in the A330 manual.

HDR is complex issue. Of course in due time every content will be HDR compatible and it will look  a lot better than before.  But the HDR and PBR implementation in P3D are not very strong and buggy. We have been discussing these issues for months on the internal Lockheed forums but to be honest did not get a lot of help.  The issue you see in our product are the same in every add-on release that uses the latest option. I can almost understand why PMDG decide to ignore PMDG to such a large degree. And then I look at how gorgeous our cockpit looks.....
