Cyberstudio 41
Hi Hans! First of all let me congratulate you. This plane is awesome!. The modeling is just amazing as well as the lightning and the systems! This morning during a flight i found an issue. If you position the plane at TNCM and try to add this SID: " JULNA2 transicion JUICE" you will notice something odd: The route isn' t drawn correctly in the ND. furthermore, if you try to fly it the plane will initially fly it ok until it reaches the beginning of the arc: It will turn left instead of right and stop following the flightplan and will start flying in circles. Please look at the image attached. The issue is fairly easy to reproduce. Just put the plane at TNCM and add the sid JULNA2. Please login to display this image. Developer metzgergva 210 Posted December 3, 2019 Developer Share Posted December 3, 2019 I just checked this out. The drawing of the route is correct. After take-off intercept radial 166 and at 10 nm from PJM turn right onto a DME ARC 12 nm and then at radial 237 intercepet radial to Juice with HDG 325. Now flying this you are right it makes a left turn and the reason is that it says R237L, which should be R237R. So drawing is correct but it should be a right and not a left turn. Taking the description of that SID from Navigraph with the highlighted information. Need to go back to Navigraph to check. SID,JULNA2,JUICE,3 FA,DER10,18.04246389,-63.09820556,0,PJM,91.4,1.2,96,2,414,0,0,0,0,0,0, CI,0, ,0,196,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0, CF,R166J,17.89033611,-63.03626667,0,PJM,166.4,10.0,166,6.00,2,4000,0,0,0,0,0,0, CI,0, ,0,166,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0, AF,R237L,17.89517778,-63.26563056,2,PJM,238.5,12.0,166,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0, CI,0, ,0,325,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0, CF,JUICE,18.13093889,-63.66666667,0, ,0.0,0.0,294,0.00,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0, I also see in the description the HDG 325 which we need to check if that should be displayed as an additional guideline from radial 237 DME 12 or just set when the plane crosses that point. The first two screens are on ground to check the radial information. The next two are from the departure flight. Please login to display this image. Please login to display this image. Cyberstudio 41
I changed manually the file and changed the R237L for R237R And yet the plane still turns left. Is that the only change that i should make? 5 hours ago, metzgergva said: The drawing of the route is correct. I was under the impression that the drawing was wrong because there's no visible connection between the arc and the flight plan path as i always see on the pmdg/fsl planes but i may be wrong on that
Developer metzgergva 210 Posted December 4, 2019 Developer Share Posted December 4, 2019 I did not ask to change the navdata. Wewill look into that with them and our interpretation of the NAV. for the time fly it in HDG mode. I will report back when thinks work.
Beatle 0
It seems to be a more general problem. I've seen the same with the SFO STICK SID. Also, the missed approach for SLC ILS 34L.
Funkarter 0
I have seen a similar behaviour with the VOR/ILS rwy 20 approach into southampton. When you select the SAM transition the route changes and is drawn to fix SAM07, which should be the fix after SAM. On allowing the autopilot to fly the route it then behaves strangely and turns with an extreme bank. If I delete SAM07 from the route then I am able to fly the approach correctly .
