Nexus82 21
Hello. I wonder how the math is performed to calculate Fuel onboard at destination? Consider my screenshot below. EICAS (far left) is showing 1390 KG FoB. FMS calculates 1200KG remaining upon arrival at ESSA (Arlanda, Stockholm). but...MFD2 is indicating 1355KG upon arrival So is the FMS calculation based on missed approach segment or why do the numbers not match? (maybe they shouldn't, but common sense would indicate they should match?) Please login to display this image. PS isn't Fuel remaning at my alternate (ESKN) very low, consider it's 131NM at FL100 but calculated fuel burn is a mere 75KG? Any ideas? Thanks in advance and have good weekend! Developer Hans Hartmann 3694 Posted November 29, 2019 Developer Share Posted November 29, 2019 There is no actual FMS calculation. The numbers are taken from tables from the Flight Planning manuals. Only the current leg is calculated based on the current fuel flow, but also not constantly.
