Recommended Posts

I just bought the new CRJ Prof. and after going through the installer (with anti-virus off and admin mode on), it gives all ok on regristration, but once in the cockpit, it shows up in the state it does when the plane isn't regristered. I have done 3 re-installs already, and not helping

This means that the DLL didn't load.

You can download and run these two files from Microsoft. Please only run one of them, test and only if it doesn't work, run the second:

Visual C++ 2017 x64 Runtime:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads (vcredist.x64.exe for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019)

DirectX June 2010 Redistributable:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

Please report if this fixes the issue. This is really important for future support requests.

P3D 4.5 with Hotfix 2 is required.

Please check  "<Installation Path>\Aerosoft CRJ Professional\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft CRJ Base\panel" for a file called "ASCRJ Pro.dll". Does the file exist? and if yes, what's its size and date?

This is what your Help -> About Prepar3D should look like.

Updating the client alone is fine for the CRJ. There are some other add-ons that require part of the P3D contents installer as well though.
