Aharon 465
Shalom and greetings all my pals, My 7 year old laptop although in mint condition has two or three keyboard buttons including letter L that are no longer operable due to age (not due to any dirt). Is it doable to program and change from number 5 to letter L in numerical pad on right side of my laptop keyboard layout??? If so, how do I do that, please? Thanks, Aharon
Emi 5161
To be honest, I would not know of any way to do it. On the other hands side though I am almost 100% sure somebody somewhere on the internet will have written a program which allows exactly what you want to do. Might be worth a search. DaveCT2003 2553
It's absolutely doable. I simply searched the Internet for "Keyboard Map Different Keys", an easy find. Two links that explain the same way to do this (see below), but there is always varuous freeware software that you can also use (but I wouldn't). https://www.pcmag.com/feature/362116/how-to-remap-your-keyboard https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/map-any-key-to-any-key-on-windows-xp-vista/ Of course you can always pick up a very inexpensive wired or Bluetooth (wireless) keyboard and resolve matters that way... that is exactly how I'd do it. They are so inexpensive these days. Hope this is helpful to you!
