Captain Fred97 2 Posted October 26, 2019 Share Posted October 26, 2019 I tried using the pilot and co-pilot of the checklist in a short flight just to see how Aerosoft's "automation" worked. The message from the MCDU was to initiate descent after descent preparation checklist was read. So I pulled the altitude knob to start descent. However, it was way too early. When we have the flight plan we can try to refly it so we can see if there is an issue and if you do the step-by-step you might see how out system expects things to happen.
