Scenery airport Poprad-Tatry, LZTT for flight simulator P3D v4+

Recommended Posts

Today I am ending the road. The road section is quite large and will be divided into 4 files to make the bounding box smaller, without interfering with other scenery objects. The next step will be the construction of a small section opposite the passenger terminal and the administrative building where car parking is located. I also want to make an inclined plane from the road to the start of the runway where the ALS lights are located. This area is also under a slight slope that will give the illusion of relief. Then lighting, etc. :)

After studying the settings of P3DV5 and upgrading Kosice to Prepar3D v5, a new installer will be preparing now, I returned to Poprad - Tatry.
It looks like an airport for arriving passengers :)

Making billboards at the airport, I decided to improvise a bit.
I want to feel at Letisko Poprad - Tatry airport that I’ve flown to a historic city located in the mountains of Vysoké Tatry :)

Pavel, are those latest screenshots taken in P3D v5?

Thx, Rado

No no. These screenshots were taken in P3DV4.
Poprad has already been adapted for P3DV5, but I first check and adjust the file in V4

Thank You Pavel for information, I’m looking forward to purchase it, as I own and enjoy LZKZ, I’m also looking forward for LZKZ P3Dv5 modification. In case you will plan to make other Slovak airports (LZIB is on your plan if I remember correctly) just send me PM, I can help you with some “resources” required for development.

Finally, licensed aerial photographs came to me, with which I began to work.
It looks great with them.
Unfortunately, I have not done 3D trees yet, there is a lot of other work that needs to be completed, but something can already be shown and compared as it was before and now :)

In the scenery made river. Rivers flow in their places both around the airport and in the city. The lakes have a given coastline height above sea level. In general, the work takes shape.
The next step is sanctification, the creation of ALS, etc. Then came the seasons, the static models and the animation of people. According to the good old tradition, Christian Bahr will be engaged in animating people. He succeeds very well and I am thankful to him for that!
In the meantime, a few screenshots :)

I also didn’t forget about the aerospace observatory :)

Those who like to fly small planes, I love Cessna, will also feel themselves in comfort. I paid special attention to the unpaved runway :)

In the first two screenshots of the flashlight model along the runway and apron. Lanterns made using the example of a photograph at Poprad Airport.
Further on the screenshots is the forest that I am preparing for the script. Trees will be seasonal: spring, summer, autumn, winter. There will be a lot of trees, next to it there will be bushes that go along the road that I made, of course near the airport.

Thank you very much for your warm feedback.
I am new to scenery. Although sometimes I’m already teaching other novice developers and not only :)
I really like to create 3D models. When I see how a beautiful building, or a car, is obtained from a simple line with my own hands, I feel admiration. Especially when I create an airport. A very long time ago I was a pilot, I flew on a passenger plane Yakovlev - 40.

But back to the X-Plane.
I thought about it. The source files are the same, the export issue in X-Plane remains, which I need to study.
Perhaps in the future I will do this.
Now there is a lot of work in Poprad and I have a new project from Bratislava :)

Thank you for your reply. I really like what I see, hence rest assured that if you ever come to X-Plane, I will be buying all your work (especially LZIB, LZKZ, LZTT) and any new additions. When I was young boy, I was fortunate enough to fly on Yak 40 as well. LKPR - LZIB - LZKZ. :) But this was some thirty years ago.

Sincerely,
Andrej

Thanks :)
You can see the autumn trees.
Yakovlev, this is a great plane :)

This photo is over 24 years old :)

Of course, I changed a little during this time, but the character and temperament remained as before :)

Hi!
The Yak-40 was a great airplane. It was easy to manage, easily mastered by pilots, very reliable. Over the entire period of operation of this aircraft there were only a few accidents for technical reasons. The remaining accidents and catastrophes that occurred to him were usually due to the human factor.
But the Yak-40, like many aircraft of the Soviet period, had imperfect engines.

The engines had high fuel consumption and they obviously lacked power.
Despite this, several aircraft were operated for a short period in Italy. What happened during the Cold War between the USSR and the Western world is a unique case :)
To date, the Yak-40 is rarely seen in the sky.

But back to Poprad and see a few screenshots of the airport :)

The next stage to which I begin is the development of a residential microdistrict which is located next to the glide path. There will be about 50 houses of a cottage type. Somewhere near the houses there will be a car, streetlights, trees.
It won’t take me much time. By the end of this week I will finish this section of work.
Why do I do it in such detail. It is located next to the glide path, planes fly over the roofs of these houses :)

Hello everyone and have a nice weekend.

I go to the finish line.
At this stage, I do the seasons. Autumn is ready. A few days will take me winter. But I can say with confidence that I will make the winter season good.
There are already achievements in the winter season, but it is too early to show them.
After the winter, I will go in for static models. They are almost all ready. There remains lighting and animation of people.
In early June, I expect that work in Poprad will be completed.

For a long time I could not understand what kind of house it was :) They say that it is a hunting lodge. In any case, the house in Poprad - Tatry is already there :)

Well, what airport in the Tatras without its stable :) Next to this lawn will be a small complex. In winter, the horses will end up in horse blankets and in the stable :)

And a small evening flight to see the flaws. Actually, it’s not bad
