CTD new PC built

I just installed PFPX in new PC and it crashes in few seconds after start.

I, already a long time ago, had this problem, after several conversations in the forum, downloads, tests etc....... we managed to fix everything.

I recommend you update EVERYTHING... Windows and applications, drivers etc....

Yes, to be sure. Reason is that some applications (not sure about PFPX) ask not for the latest version of MS V C++, but a specific version. Unfortunately MS made their redistributables in a way, that for example the 2012 version is completely different to 2017 version. The 2017 version is not a update for older versions (or include their functionality), but is a completely different product.

I tried all above solutions many weeks ago and still get OOM and CTD. i just learn to live with it now.

Installed those from that link (updated below), still crashes.

I saw another topic with the same issue. It was mentioned W10 version maybe an issue. I have W10 Pro v1803. Ii was mentioned upgrading to 1903 can make a difference. Now I need to find out how to upgrade.

Try the update function HERE

 

I tested the v2.03 installer on WIN10 1903 this morning where it functions without issue.
