Recently we have seen a lot of codes used to unlock our products being offered for discounted prices. Almost all of them are bought using stolen credit cards. These codes will all be blocked by our systems and you will have to try to get your money back from the seller, we are unable to assist in these matters. Do be very careful when you see a deal that is almost too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.

I, already a long time ago, had this problem, after several conversations in the forum, downloads, tests etc....... we managed to fix everything.

I recommend you update EVERYTHING... Windows and applications, drivers etc....

I cannot think of anything else needs to be updated. Windows and all apps are shown up to date. Nothing is pending for a update.

Which versions of Microsoft vcredist are installed ?

Download the x86 and x64 2015-2019 vcredist HERE

 

Uninstall your 2017 versions and reboot.

 

Install the 2015/19 versions and again reboot.

They are combined Edward, so just the x86 and x64 link

Yes, to be sure. Reason is that some applications (not sure about PFPX) ask not for the latest version of MS V C++, but a specific version. Unfortunately MS made their redistributables in a way, that for example the 2012 version is completely different to 2017 version. The 2017 version is not a update for older versions (or include their functionality), but is a completely different product.

I tried all above solutions many weeks ago and still get OOM and CTD. i just learn to live with it now.

I saw another topic with the same issue. It was mentioned W10 version maybe an issue. I have W10 Pro v1803. Ii was mentioned upgrading to 1903 can make a difference. Now I need to find out how to upgrade.

Try the update function HERE

 

I tested the v2.03 installer on WIN10 1903 this morning where it functions without issue.

Looks like problem is solved. I have opened a support ticket and I was suggested to run PFPX in compatibility mode and I can start PFPX with no problem.
