September's Screenshot Contest - SOMETHING - "REAL WORLD"""

Recommended Posts

  • Deputy Sheriffs

Well its another month for you to do your thing - but this time we are going outside the scope of SIMULATION, and for the first time we are going to give real world shots of aircraft a go (thanks CA Picaso).  However,  It must be an action shot of some sort AND it must be a photo that YOU OWN.  If it is well received we may add this to the list of genres for the competitions in the future.

As Always   - All participants are ONLY allowed 1 image if you post more than one - ONLY the first entry will be judged and the others deleted.

Users are allowed to change their posted image up until the time frame allowing you to do so expires.  If you fail to post an image based on the theme of the month, it is very likely that the image will not be considered during "judgment day".

Good Luck to ALL participants!!!

It does not matter, any real photo that you have taken that fits the criteria of the contest is always welcome.

Well this is an interesting change!  It has been a long time since I went plane spotting, something I used to do all the time.  It might motivate me to get out and take some shots. :)

Hey Kroswynd, MSFS not allowed this month! Very perfect PBR in the first pic 🙂

Fantastic shots!
My favorite one is the happy boy in the Enstrom 280C.
I like the atmosphere very much. It's heart warming and gives good vibrations.
Just to mention vibrations: the picture is astonishing sharp!
Extremely short exposure time. Besides your talent you must have a very, very good tele lens!

It looks like 3D: you can clearly see that the hand of the young co-pilot ist outside the fuselage.
Not so easy to stay happy in an helicopter without door!

And the other pics are also very, very good . . .

Haha, Matthias, very nice try 🙂

I love your kidding 🙂  Thumps up!

How did you make this shot? Probably with your paraglider, as I suppose? 😉
Or are _YOU_ the guy with the drone at Gatwick? You can tell us, we can keep this secret 😉

Oh yes, I remember now!
Last year LM has sold a really good tele called pr3pared. Could not imagine that it is _so_ good, but now I know better. Thank you very much for your information 🙂

Congratulations on winning September's screenshot contest.  Definitely an action shot, I like the fact that a high shutter speed was not used to freeze the frame allowing for one to see the props in action.

Email to follow shortly.
