50 FPS and good Graphics on a old PC / i7 3770k

I want to show you how to get 50 fps on an old computer.

I´m a VFR Flyer at IVAO and i like to have my Xplane as real as possible.


My Specs:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz 3.50GHz Not Overclocked!

Ram: 16 GB ( 15,9 GB are in use)

Windows 10 /64Bit

NVIDIA GTX 1060 / 6GB Not Overclocked!

I have no SSD! I´m useing my old HDD from 2012 .


My Xplane Add-Ons:

Xplane11/ newest Version

+ Every Airport/Airstrip for Europe from the Website: " APXP.INFO " ( freeware )

+ Ortho4Xp Tiles for whole Europe with  Overlays.  ( freeware )

+FSRealX-  Real Weather Addon ( freeware )

+VFR Landmarks from SImHeaven ( kfreeware )


+Reshade ( freeware )

+Recording/Streaming Software:  OBS Studio / Streamlabs OBS ( freeware )

-Saitek YOKE PRO

-Logitech Extreme 3d Pro / Thrustmaster HOTAS (F16 Version)

Tweak Software:

FlyWithLua -Plugin ( DOWNLOAD at XPLANE.ORG )

FlyAgi Tweak Utility ( DOWNLOAD at XPLANE.ORG )

Rendering Options for XP11 V.1.0.4 ( DOWNLOAD at XPLANE.ORG )





Step 1:

First you have to Install the downloaded Plugin´s / Software.

It´s a really Easy Installation.


Step 2:

My Graphics settings in Xplane:

Important: --> Turn O F F   Vsync!



Step 3:

Restart Xplane11 and close it again.



My settings for the " Rendering Options for XP11 " Tool:

Make sure that you save the Settings.LUA into the Flywithlua script folder (overwrite the old Settings / BUT Backup it before )



Step 5:

FlyAgi Tweak Utility- To open this program, click on Tweak utility in the lower right corner of the game (in flight)
