AS A320 - (only) Cargo loading not working

Hello dear Aerosoft Support Team,

i have a problem with loading cargo on my A320.

Conditions:

1) Loadsheet generated (with the correct Aircraft)

2) GSX not used

3) Aircraft with external power at the gate (chucks set, no engines running)

4) Both cargo doors open.

In MCDU3, i load the "loadsheet", then i start all 3 steps:

1) PAX boarding is fine (number increasing)

2) Fuel loading is fine (number increasing)

3) Cargo - nothing happens. The LSK letters are "white" - no blinking, no activity, no increasing cargo visible.

When i push the "instant load" button, everything is OK.

Only the realistic progressive loading of cargo does not work

Do i need to wait much longer?

Or is something wrong in my process?

Thanks for advices,

Jan

Which version number of the Airbus do you have installed?

And please post a screenshot of Load/Fuel page before and after you init the Loadsheet

A good first question: I was on 1.2.4.0 (i was not aware an update was released until now)

I updated to 1.2.5.0 right now and will try soon if that solved my problem.

I will give feedback here.

Update

- Cargo loading worked fine yesterday (A320) -seems to be solved

2nd issue detected

- PAX Boarding did not get green after it was finished. Stayed orange all the time. But i could do and finish my flight.

Thanks!

Please give us some more details regarding the "PAX boarding" issue so we are able to try to reproduce it:

  • Which Airbus type you are using
  • Number of passengers to be boarded
  • Which method you use for boarding: GSX, MCDU3 internal LSK1R or LSK4R (Load Instant)
  • Were the numbers boarded (ACT) correct and just the status was wrong

Rolf

could it be related to this issue? as a few of us have the same problem with the Boarding light staying orange with 1.2.5

Thanks

Hi Rolf

- A320, correct loadsheet generated

- in my case there were 136 passengers planned

- MCDU3 with LSK1R

- ACT was correct (136/136), but the "boarding" stayed orange, even after closing the doors.

  • 2 weeks later...

Had a similar issue with the A319 IAE with cargo. Cargo would never load even with clicking Load Instant. It occured after trying to load cargo after setting up the second flight without reloading the sim after the first one.

I'm using GSX. Cargo loaded again after restarting P3D. No issues with 1.2.4.x but after updating to 1.2.5.0.

Known issue if GSX is not installed. Working on the solution.

The issue has been fixed and will be part of the next experimental update.....
