I've been missing Malaga, with its classical imperial terminals since migrating to XP11 from P3D.

Great to hear,

Chris

Hi there,

Will this scenery support GLS/GBAS approaches (in operation at the airport since 2014)?

Many thanks,

Chris

And what do you expect a scenery to offer as support for something like that?

Hi Mathijs,

Ideally the GBAS ground station (assuming that the GLS approaches themselves, for Runways 13 & 31, are incorporated in Global Navdata)

But that ground station is just a building, not something you can tune into.  This whole technology actually needs nothing special on the ground.

The visible part might or might not include a small shelter or just small antennas you can see here (GPS and VHF types shown in the pictures). Read here for a description of the physical infrastructure (Second paragraph), which is minimal and not necessarily even on the airport. So not much to see.

The project manager is out of action right now but I expect him back soon and then he will update this.
