I'm not having any luck getting the software installed into the sim.  I tried to do it manually and select with it's installed but it keeps telling me that it can't be located.  Any luck in getting help?  Thanks/

Are you sure this is about the Aerosoft updater and not the standard installer? If it is about the installer the error indicates some of the standard keys in the registry is missing. A simple re-install of the client will fix that.

The Heathrow Extended Version is only designed and compatible for older P3D Versions up to P3D V3.2 see Productpage:

System requirements for FSX & P3D:
Microsoft Flight Simulator X (incl.Service Pack 2, Acceleration Pack), FSX: Steam Edition or Lockheed Martin Prepar3D (V2 or V3.2)

 

For P3D V4 the Professional Version is the correct Product, an Upgrade Service ( 5,71 € ex VAT ) is available.
