niklasnowaka380 7
So when I go into avatar mode in P3d V3, I can't get closer to the Aerosoft A318/19/20/21. It stops me and yet the avatar continues to run, is there a solution to this? Thanks
Christian Bahr 221
Hi. The solution is to call the graphic menu once and confirm with OK. And please check your settings in P3D: Please login to display this image. The Avatar mode obviously has a small bug. If one changes from an aircraft to the avatar (ctrl + shift + e), then the proberties of the aircraft are not "inherited" to the avatar, meaning the collision detection. But if you go into the graphics menu and click OK, then the collision detection is transferred to the avatar and you can, if you like, go under the plane or very close to the plane
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted May 7, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 7, 2019 And to make it clear, this is not a bug in the Airbus, but in P3D.
niklasnowaka380 7
For some reason on P3D V3 there is no check box for the avatar. Please login to display this image. Is there another option that I must click in order for me to have the ability to check the other box?
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted May 7, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 7, 2019 TBH, no idea about an outdated version of P3D. Better you ask this in the P3D forum. http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/

It is not a specific bug, it affects all aircraft of all manufacturers. Perhaps a request in the P3D forum could help correct the bug.
